Technologies
GreenFlow Energy has strategic relationships as well as exclusive technology licensing agreements with world-renowned innovators in the green energy arena. These collaborations empower us to forge innovative energy solutions, elevating us above the competition.
Direct Solid Fuel Recuperation (DSFR) Gas Turbine
This technology is designed and manufactured in Australia and utilises solid waste as a fuel source. It produces electricity with ultra-low emissions and adheres to stringent European Emissions Standards for waste incineration.
Heavy Vehicle Electrification
GreenFlow Energy can facilitate the electrification of fleets of heavy vehicles up to B-Double size. The technology works via conversion of existing engines with the process taking up to a week per vehicle. The unique value of the solution is a ‘swap and go’ functionality that allows vehicles to change batteries in 5 minutes at strategically placed battery banks. The electric motors are the most powerful in the world in this segment. Behind the technology is a dashboard and ecosystem monitoring solution that provides optimisation of vehicle movements, monitoring of battery health as well as a range of other important data points.
Torrefaction and Pyrolysis
These processes involve the slow heating of biomass in an inert or oxygen-deficit environment. During torrefaction, biomass is pre-dried and thermally decomposed to release volatile organic compounds, resulting in a gas and solid product with higher energy content and improved storage stability. This treated biomass becomes more hydrophobic, which enhances its properties for energy production.
Micro Fischer Tropsch
This technology involves converting a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen into liquid hydrocarbons. It's typically used for producing synthetic petroleum substitute, ideally suited for use as a fuel.
Plastics to Fuel Refinery
GreenFlow Energy’s innovative process transforms non-recycled plastics into high-quality fuel, adhering to petrol and diesel standards, including EN590 diesel specification. The technology compresses and cools non-condensable gases, resulting in marketable LPG-range liquid.
Bioengineered Bana Grass
This involves using genetically modified Bana Grass for biofuel production. The grass is engineered to have higher biomass yields, is drought and disease resistent and is a promising feedstock for biofuel due to its rapid growth and high cellulose content.
Sustainable Fuels
GreenFlow Energy is at the forefront of the development and delivery of a range of next-generation sustainable energy products. Each of our fuels represents our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.
Bio-Green Solid Fuel Pellets/Briquettes
These are eco-friendly alternatives to traditional fossil fuels, made from compressed renewable biomass. Ideal for heating and power generation, they offer a clean burn with lower carbon emissions that is carbon neutral.
Bio-Coal Pellets/Briquettes
Produced through the torrefaction of biomass, bio-coal pellets have a high energy content and serve as a renewable substitute for conventional coal. They are used in industrial processes, helping to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and carbon emissions. Again, our Bio-Coal is renewable and carbon neutral.
Bio-Char or Bio-PCI Coal Pellets/Briquettes
Bio-char, a type of charcoal, is used for enhancing soil fertility and sequestering carbon in agriculture. Bio-PCI, a variant, is employed in metallurgical processes as a sustainable alternative to traditional coking coal.
Syngas
Generated from the gasification of biomass or waste materials, the renewable and carbon neutral Syngas can be processed into many valuable derivative products including; carbon neutral and carbon negative fuels such as green hydrogen as well as a variety of fuels like syn-diesel, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), Dimethyl Ether (DME), Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG), methanol and more.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
SAF is a clean-burning fuel made from sustainable resources, such as waste oils, biomass and agricultural residues. It can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and is compatible with existing jet engines, making it a viable eco-friendly alternative to conventional jet fuel.
Green Diesel
Also known as renewable diesel, green diesel is derived from biomass or end of life plastics and offers a sustainable, cleaner-burning alternative to traditional diesel. It has a higher energy content and significantly reduces emissions of particulates and greenhouse gases.
